We live in the age of booming information technology. Information super highway or internet has revolutionized the life. Internet is a melting pot of so many technologies which provides multimedia information facilities of low cost with super speed.  Internet offers a sea of opportunities and advantages.  It promises high global connectivity. Internet these days has become an integral part of our lives. It has brought people closer. From e-books to movies to music – everything we need for entertainment, business and information is available on the internet. But sometimes it is a platform of electronic crimes, pornography, etc. and, we need to be cautious.  Regulations, online space policies and strict disciplines are needed in this technical world for better utilization of it. 

             

             Just as is the case with everything else, excess usage of internet can also be harmful. Some of these include wastage of time, stalking, spamming and hacking. The disadvantages of internet certainly outweigh its advantages nowadays after many online fraudulent incidents. The nature of the Internet and the ease of gaining anonymity on it have made crime easy and catching criminals much more difficult. Herewith I propound some internet safety rules to avoid getting into online troubles. Please see the poster below.

 Internet has a lot of pros and cons. Not only students, but people of all age groups can use it. But we should not fall prey to some of their traps. We should use the internet wisely and not be addicted to it. Internet can be very useful, especially for students. We should also take the security measures and not let our self dignity to be ruined.
